A small Islamic library — sīrah, ḥadīth, akhlāq and the books we return to. Borrowable Wednesday through Sunday.
The most beloved time for prayer — when our Lord descends to the lowest heaven and asks who is calling, who is seeking, who is asking. Below is tonight's window for your location.
"Our Lord — Blessed and Exalted — descends every night to the lowest heaven when only the last third of the night remains, and He says: Who is calling upon Me, that I may answer him? Who is asking of Me, that I may give him? Who is seeking My forgiveness, that I may forgive him?"
— Reported by Bukhārī & Muslim · narrated by Abū Hurayrah
The night runs from Maghrib (sunset) to Fajr (dawn). We divide that duration into three equal portions; the last third is the window for tahajjud.
Times come from the AlAdhan database for your location, using the ISNA calculation method by default.
If your location couldn't be detected, the times default to Brisbane, Queensland. Other scholars use Isha→Fajr instead of Maghrib→Fajr — adjust according to what you follow.
"And to Allah belong the Most Beautiful Names, so invoke Him by them" — al-Aʿrāf 7:180. Tap a feeling to find the Name that meets you, or open the full ninety-nine.
An anonymous sky of du'ās. Tap any lantern to make a silent prayer for the heart that lit it. No names, no comments — just intercession. At Maghrib every lantern glows together. A pearl of wisdom drifts among them each day.
An accurate astronomical phase for your location, with a hadith for each moon of the month.
Each phase carries a Sunnah of the night — sayings of the Prophet ﷺ about the moon, the stars, and the hours of darkness.
Please note the phase shown above is calculated astronomically (accurate worldwide). Official Islamic dates — Ramadan, Eid, Muharram — for moon sighting consult your local community.
A saying of the Prophet ﷺ, drawn fresh each time you open this page.
These are authentic narrations from Bukhārī, Muslim, Tirmidhī, Abū Dāwūd, and Nasā'ī — verified against sunnah.com. Tap "view on sunnah.com" to read the chain of narration and commentary.

Da'wah is a gift — offered with wisdom, gentleness and beautiful character. We're lovingly preparing this hub; here's a glimpse of what's coming, in shā Allāh.
"Invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good instruction, and argue with them in a way that is best. Indeed, your Lord is most knowing of who has strayed from His way, and He is most knowing of who is rightly guided."
Sūrah an-Naḥl · 16:125Everything in da'wah returns to a single, gentle truth: there is only One God, the Creator of all, who alone deserves our worship. This is tawḥīd — and the whole of Islam grows from it. To embrace it, a person bears witness, sincerely:
The Qur'ān is Allah's own words — the greatest da'wah there is. You don't need to have every answer; often the most beautiful thing you can do is help someone read it for themselves.
"And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me."
Adh-Dhāriyāt · 51:56 — our purpose"This is the Book about which there is no doubt, a guidance for those conscious of Allah."
Al-Baqarah · 2:2 — the Book itself"There shall be no compulsion in religion. The right course has become clear from the wrong."
Al-Baqarah · 2:256 — no compulsion"And who is better in speech than one who invites to Allah, does righteousness, and says, 'Indeed, I am of the Muslims.'"
Fuṣṣilat · 41:33 — the honour of da'wahThe full Arabic, translation, and your own private notes — āyah by āyah.
Open the Qur'ān →The Messenger ﷺ called people to Allah for twenty-three years — not with force, but with mercy, patience, and a character so beautiful that hearts softened around him.
"Convey from me, even one verse." Your task is to convey gently; guidance belongs to Allah alone.
Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī"Make things easy and do not make them difficult; give glad tidings and do not repel people."
Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī"None of you truly believes until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself."
Bukhārī & Muslim"Repel evil with that which is better, and the one between you and him was enmity will become as a devoted friend."
Fuṣṣilat · 41:34You will be asked beautiful questions. You don't need to be a scholar — speak from what you know, point to the Qur'ān, and never be ashamed to say "let me find out for you."
The One Creator — eternal, without partner, child, or equal. "Say, He is Allah, [who is] One." (Al-Ikhlāṣ · 112)
To know and worship the One who made us — and in that, to find true peace. (Adh-Dhāriyāt · 51:56)
The final Messenger in a long line — sent, as the Qur'ān says, "as a mercy to the worlds." (Al-Anbiyā' · 21:107)
Deeply loved and honoured — a mighty prophet of Allah, born of the Virgin Maryam. Muslims await his return.
A beautiful invitation the Qur'ān itself offers: "Come to a word that is equitable between us and you — that we worship none but Allah." (Āl ʿImrān · 3:64)
Always return da'wah to authentic sources — the Qur'ān and the established collections of ḥadīth. Read and check here:
For verifying texts, the Qur'ān (quran.com) and the major ḥadīth collections (sunnah.com) are widely-trusted references. When in doubt, ask a qualified scholar.
